thank you lijo, by the way the pills for 10.3 and 10.4 published on simol do not cure the circuit editor (one needs 10.3 or 10.4 to run the docexamples above). I noticed this with winxp_x64 installation.
Would somebody share if the pills cure the circuit editor with, say winxp_x32 or win7_x64.

V10.3.3 works fine in x32 or x64 systems with Old Flux2D Solver (legacy) and/or New Flux3D Solver and/or for example old commands-DOS-programs like modify, cslmat (Materials database), electriflux, ....

v10.4.1 works fine in x64 and new Flux3D Solver

V10.4.1 works fine in x32 systems with Old Flux2D Solver and/or New Flux3D Solver (use a VM at X64 compyuta)

Into help of Flux 10.4 see Flux2D (legacy)...... , Electriflux is a old app, Flux have over 10 years of changing the interface, the French work slowly;)

in my case 10.4.1 installed on winxp_x64 and with the pill from

gives me a "license error" when pressing the "circuit" button. anyway..
what do you mean see Flux2d (legacy)...? I searched simol for "Flux2d (legacy)" and didn't get any entry...

thanks lijo, 10.3.3 worked in winxp_x64 after repacing elecriflux.exe with a fixed one. Thanks again for your prompt responses. Jmag and Maxwell look however much more user friendlier and advanced than Flux.

without replacing the electrifix.exe the "circuit"button doesn't work under winxp_x64 unfortunately. checked it on two pcs.
Don't have experience with Flux, but my first impression is not good at all. The interface looks like 5-10 years behind the others.
