•Added new graphical point-and-click method of defining coils.
•Added edge chamfering and edge filleting.
•Improved MagNet’s nonlinear solver speed and accuracy.
•Newton iteration has been improved for non-linear 3D static, non-linear 3D transient and non-linear 3D motion solves.
•Sped up the loading of large post-processing meshes.
•Sped up redrawing of meshes by about 50% and reduced the memory consumption by over 50%
(e.g. a model with an 11 million tetrahedral solution mesh that took 8.6 GB in MN 7.6, now takes 4.0 GB in 7.7).
•Sped up the loading of meshes by 46% (for the same 11 million tetrahedral model). The bigger the mesh, the faster the speedup.
•Reduced memory usage and speed up the calculation of the time-averaged hysteresis and eddy current loss for transient solutions.
•Made revisions to improve the efficiency of the calculation of time-averaged fields for arbitrary quantities. As an example, calculating "B->Vector X component->Average" for the "transformer" sample model (135,000 tetrahedra) has been reduced from 20 minutes to about 23 seconds (i.e. over 50 times faster), as well as providing an additional 8 percent speedup to Surface Force Density
•New dongle drivers are updated.
