各位大侠,JMAG11推出了!!

JMAG 11版推出了,大概看了一下官网的介绍,
主要新增亮点为嵌入整合了以往只有Studio才有的功能 如Manual Mesh Modeling,Eccentricity,
新增Automatic Extruded Meshing,Extracting Data from a Result File;MpCCI interface,支援GPU分布运算

Hi friends:
I never touch with JMAG before, I already usea lot time on ansoft maxwell, simplorer..
If you can tell me what's the benefits for JMAG compare to ansoft.
If it worth to learn this new stuff ?

I prefer JMAG because :

1 the interface is tidy and easy to learn.
2 strongly manual mesh generation.
3 integrated basic circuit function which can meet most motor analysis.
4 completed post data output.
5 good scripts support.

I agree with error_code but,

Jmag's circuit editor is very basic (not sure if Jmag works reliably with PSIM and Simulink)

Jmag’s mesher is unpredictable (higher quality, finer mesh can produce complete rubbish while courser mesh gives trustful result). This doesn't happen with Maxwell.

Thank error_code and rp2004.
I already use two days on JMAG.My feeling is it looks good for motor design and interface is much easy to learn. Result output is nice beauty and much simple.
I think the material library is worth for the future to use. I do not work on motor. I need tools
for low frequency electromagnetic transmission research. I will use some more time on these tools and find one which is better for me.
May be as :simplorer + maxwell + Simulink + ANSYS

Sorry, I can not get it. I try to apply an evaluation version, the JMAG guy has to talk to me.
I do not like that so I decide to give up.
