Maximum Load Capacity and Main Circuit Design of Voltage Sag

Abstract
A  novel  voltage  sag  compensator  with  double-layer
capacitor is presented.  The discharge characteristics of the
double-layer capacitors and the maximum load capacity of
the system are investigated on the basis of the equivalent
circuit  including  capacitors  and  a  voltage  booster.
Furthermore, main circuit design of the system is explained.
Finally, simulation results show the validity of the design
and the ability of the compensator.
