In FLUX2D the parametric computation can be:
• Monoparametric, when only a variable is modified, the others are set to their reference values.
Let us consider the following example: we wish to vary two parameters by asking for 2 and 3
computation values, respectively. In this case, FLUX2D will carry out:
• 2 computations for the parameter 1;
• 3 computations for the parameter 2;
Thus, FLUX2D will carry out 5 computations.
• Multiparametric, when all the possible combinations of parameters are explored.
Let us consider the following example: we wish to vary two parameters by asking for 2 and 3
computation values, respectively. In this case, FLUX2D will carry out:
• 2 x 3 = 6 computations for the solving out of all the possible combinations between the two
parameters. |
