FLUX中的"infinite box" 是什么意思?

To solve a problem with the finite element method, it is necessary to set limits on the device model, i.e. to define the limits or boundaries of the calculations. In models where it is important to study the electromagnetic effects surrounding the device, calculations must be performed in the air around the device. To limit the number of calculations around a device, an infinite box is added surrounding the model. This is a method of closing the study domain with an outer boundary sufficiently far away from the device so as not to interfere with the results. The modelling assumes there is a null field at the outside of the infinite box.

The user must evaluate the distance at which the computed fields become negligible in order to size the infinite box.
