Job Title:Senior Application Engineer
Reports To:Technical Manager
Business Unit/Function:China FICE
Position Summary:
Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:
To provide pre-sales support for ANSYS products(special focus on Ansoft Electromechanical Products ) to sales team and technical support,Post-Sales support,training to users of ANSYS products(special focus on Ansoft EM Products) , developing marketing materials in China. Detailed job description is provided below:
Support to Sales and Marketing Activities
Providing technical assistance to sales team through technical presentations, product demonstrations, and benchmark problems (sample problems)
Providing technical assistance to marketing activities by developing examples for new applications, technical presentations and demos at seminars, workshops
Technical Support (Reactive and Proactive)
Assisting clients using ANSYS products(special focus on Ansoft EM products), through email and telephone, in all phases of analysis from correct posing of the initial problem to solution and interpretation of results
Client Training
Training of new clients/prospects
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
• Masters in Motor, Electromechanical, Automatic Control engineering
• Deep understanding of the principals of Motor,Electromechanical, EV or HEV, Driver System design
• With 4 to 7 years experience in design of Motor and Motor control circuit, control system design with a strong emphasis on 3D electromagnetic simulation
• Working knowledge of Ansoft Maxwell 3D, Simplorer is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical, visualization and problem solving skills
• Good Skill of writing and speaking in English
• Interested in working with customers and willing to travel on regular basis
• Willing and ability to travel frequently all China and oversea.
